ISHEA-LEX DNA: From Measurement to Transformation
By Carlos J. Pérez Pulido · ISHEA Institute ·
GDP counts production and the HDI adds health and education, but neither explains how real change spreads through human systems. ISHEA-LEX moves from measuring reality to transforming it.

🌍 ISHEA–LEX DNA: From Measurement to Transformation
Most indices stop at measurement. GDP counts production. HDI adds education and health.
But none explain how real change spreads in human systems.
That’s why we built ISHEA–LEX DNA: a framework powered by Agent-Based Modeling (ABM) with Behavioral DNA.
🔹 How we use it inside ISHEA
Every person is modeled as an agent with:
• Neurochemistry (oxytocin, cortisol, dopamine)
• Conscious + unconscious memories
• Thresholds of trust and cooperation
Interventions (parks, fiscal changes, recognition systems) are tested in simulations.
We observe whether they trigger the +1 effect: the irreversible step where trust becomes a new social norm.
🎯 Our objectives
1. Move beyond static indices → capture emergence instead of snapshots.
2. Design living ecosystems → see how micro–interventions reshape entire societies.
3. Bridge biology and policy → connect emotions, cognition, and governance.
4. Validate sustainable well-being → ensure that progress is ecological, fiscal, and human at once.
🧪 Our testing approach
Agent-based simulations: measure how cooperation emerges across thousands of agents.
Comparative scenarios: GDP vs. ISHEA–DNA → which predicts long-term resilience?
Pilot interventions: using real case studies (urban design, fiscal reforms, community trust).
Validation metrics: cortisol reduction, oxytocin increase, memory anchoring, +1 behavioral shifts.
🚀 The insight:
> “We don’t just measure if a society is well.
We test how it becomes well — and whether that change lasts.”
That is the mission of ISHEA–LEX DNA v2.0.
Not a static index.
A law of transformation.
💡 Question for the community:
Do you believe the future of well-being measurement must integrate biology, cognition, and emergence?

Threat or opportunity? Artificial intelligence and our creative capacity
Responding to Pope Leo XIV’s call to “disarm AI”, this piece argues that the risk lies not in the technology but in the human system using it: well designed, AI can free up creative capacity.
