❤️🧠 Valentine’s Day:
Is love just a chemical joke…
or an exquisite need for energetic coupling?
They say love is:
🎢 dopamine playing hide-and-seek
🤗 oxytocin hugging traumas
invisible contracts signed by vasopressin
Basically…
a chemical reaction with emotional expectations.
And yes.
That’s true.
But it’s also incomplete.
Because if love were just chemistry,
one supplement and two notifications
should be enough.
(Spoiler: they’re not.)
Love happens when two biological systems
decide —sometimes without logic’s permission—
to regulate themselves together.
When:
the pulse calms in the presence of another
silence is not threatening
the body lowers its guard
This isn’t romanticism.
It’s applied neurophysiology.
A secure bond:
reduces cortisol
improves metabolism
restores energy
And that’s also why some loves drain more
than a week without sleep.
Not everything that makes your heart race
does it for the right reasons 💥

Love is shared coherence.
