🃏 Castillo de Naipes
🎭 En Halloween las máscaras caen. Y en los mercados también: detrás de las narrativas perfectas suele esconderse fragilidad.
La reciente noticia del allanamiento a la residencia de Moez Kassam en Toronto lo recuerda bien. No es la primera vez, ni será la última.
En los últimos 30 años vimos casos calcados:
LTCM (1998) → un fondo “matemáticamente invencible” que se desplomó en semanas.
Madoff (2008) → auditorías limpias, un fraude de 50 mil millones.
Archegos (2021) → posiciones ocultas que costaron 50 mil millones a grandes bancos.
SVB (2023) → un banco referente en innovación que quebró en tres días.
Todos tenían ratings positivos y auditorías impecables. Todos eran “seguros”.
Pero un castillo de naipes puede lucir perfecto… hasta el segundo antes de caer.
📌 Las auditorías certifican el pasado.
📌 Los ratings congelan una foto del presente.
📌 Nadie estaba viendo el futuro.
Y ahí está la clave.
Porque lo que necesitamos son coberturas y capacidad de anticiparse.
