Venezuela: An H₂ Leap With Purpose

Rather than returning to the starting point, this proposal argues for a direct leap to hydrogen: existing ports, plants and talent as the base of a purposeful energy transition.

𝙀𝙡 𝙩𝙞𝙚𝙢𝙥𝙤 𝙚𝙨 𝙤𝙧𝙤 — 𝙮, 𝙚𝙣 𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙚 𝙘𝙖𝙨𝙤, 𝙣𝙚𝙜𝙧𝙤.
¿Qué pasaría si en vez de “volver a como estábamos”, saltamos directo al futuro?
Tenemos puertos, plantas, talento y energía. El mundo necesita moléculas limpias (hidrógeno, amoníaco, metanol, SAF) y productos de alto valor. Nosotros podemos dárselos —y pagarnos con eso la transformación.
Así se siente el plan (sin tecnicismos):
• Parar la fuga y la quema de gas (la antorcha a cielo abierto) para bajar emisiones y abrir financiamiento.
• Encender nuevas fábricas que conviertan lo que hoy exportamos crudo en fertilizantes, bioplásticos, combustibles sostenibles y tecnología para el agro.
• Mover al país con buses y camiones a hidrógeno hechos aquí, y exportarlos a la región.
• Traer inversión privada con reglas claras; que los bancos de desarrollo ayuden a construir redes, almacenamiento y puertos energéticos.
• Universidades y empresas creando laboratorios, cátedras y carreras para que nuestros hijos trabajen en la industria que viene.
¿Qué ganamos? Empleo bien pago, energía confiable, orgullo de país.
¿La fórmula? Usar el ingreso del petróleo para sembrar el imperio verde y químico. No es renunciar; es evolucionar.
Actuemos hoy. El mercado no va a esperar. “Sembremos el petróleo” y demos propósito a Venezuela.
